You look around at your life and know you should be happy. You have so many blessings and yet–there’s something stirring inside of you that’s unsettling. You know deep down that there must be something more for your life. I’ve been there. A few years ago, I was searching for the “something more.”
Here’s what I discovered: there is always more! Jesus came not just so that we may have life, but that we may have an abundant life. (John 10:10) There IS more. God created each of us on purpose, for a purpose. We have a part to play in His master plan. It’s an amazing thing to know you are saved by the blood of the Lamb and your sins are forgiven! But it doesn’t have to stop there. Sure, we’re going to be able to spend eternity with our Savior–what an incredible gift! However, Jesus offers more for us here on earth, too.
When we are living out our calling here on earth, we experience an inexplicable joy. Think about how a machine works when it’s used properly and then how it works when it’s not being used the way it was intended to be used. Like a boat, for example. It will glide gloriously across the water, carrying people, cargo, etc. but if you try to drive it on land, it’s not going to be glorious! You can put it on a trailer so it will still move forward, but that’s not using it the way it was intended to be used. And just like a boat on a trailer, we can still move forward in life and never actually operate at our full potential.
How about you? What did God create you to do here on earth? Are you operating in your full potential? What special gifs and characteristics did he bless you with? What is the dream he placed inside of you before you were even born? What is that one thing you do that creates inexplicable joy deep down in your soul?
For me, it’s encouraging and coaching Christian women to figure out who God created them to be. It brings me great joy to walk women through the process of discovering who God created them to be and then taking action to step into the abundant life He has in store for them. We don’t have to settle, ladies. There is more. And it’s time to rise up and shine your light! Like a beacon on a hill–you are a light for all the world to see and know Jesus. You have a part to play in the master plan. And if you’re not willing to do it, who will?
I’ve taken what I’ve learned through my own experiences and created the RISE UP & Shine your light Framework. Each step of this process is designed to help you discover your purpose and then take action steps to begin living life abundantly–full of joy! It’s time to do what it takes to operate at our full potential in order to show the love of Jesus to everyone around us. There are people waiting for you to rise up.
Over the next few months, I’m going to be creating tools, videos, trainings, workshops, and other products to help you RISE UP & Shine Your Light! I am determined to help as many women as I can to figure out their “something more” and begin to live life more abundantly! Are you in?!
